Caring for Your Crystals

A little care, drawn from traditional practice, keeps your crystal looking and feeling its best.

  1. Cleanse It First

    Before first use, pass your crystal through incense or sage smoke, or rest it on a selenite plate overnight.

  2. Set an Intention

    Hold it for a moment, breathe slowly, and say what you would like it to support.

  3. Recharge by Moonlight

    Leave it on a windowsill on the night of a full moon to refresh its energy.

  4. Keep It Dry

    Selenite dissolves in water, and many stones dull with soap and creams. Take bracelets off before bathing or swimming.

  5. Mind the Sun

    Long hours of strong sunlight can fade rose quartz, amethyst and other coloured stones.
